This team sure is making it’s mark around the area! First off they traveled just around the corner to an Indiana Township tournament taking second place. Their second adventure they headed east to a Plum tour-ney to take first place against Ingomar. The following week, they set out north on Route 28 for the Natrona Heights Tournament. There were thirteen communities entered in this age bracket and the Hampton girls placed as a third seed coming out of pool play. After all week-end at the ball field, Hampton earned their position in the championship game against Harrison City Heat. These Hampton girls along with their coaching staff showed tremendous team work to beat Harrison City Heat and take first place! The girls pushed for more, so their coaches took them to Saxonburg, and again, a long and fun weekend of pitching, sliding and stealing bases, the girls kept their winning streak alive, but this time were awarded runner up trophies against Harrison City. What a season for this team and still going strong! They are off to Deer Lakes next, we’ll keep you posted!
